Our Story
Born and raised in Italy, our owner Vincent and his wife Cathy grew up surrounded by the restaurant business and wanted to carry on their family’s tradition here in Staunton. At Cavataio’s, we specialize in authentic Italian cuisine made with simplicity, fresh ingredients, and bold flavors. Since 1988, we’ve been serving handcrafted pizzas, pasta with house-made sauces, and our unlimited build-your-own salad bar, along with mouthwatering appetizers and sandwiches.
Our talented chefs prepare every dish from scratch with recipes perfected over generations. From toasted ravioli and garlic bread to hearty lasagna and classic chicken parmesan, every bite reflects the care and passion we put into our food. We strive to create more than just a meal—we create an atmosphere where family, friends, and community come together.
